The Lucien Arkas Art Center opened to visitors in April 2026 in Bayraklı, İzmir. As the seventh stop on the Arkas Art route extending across İzmir, the center has been conceived as a venue for international exhibitions and collections, as well as learning programs, screenings, conferences, cultural events, and gatherings. Located within the retail level of the Mistral complex, a mixed-use business and residential development, the center features 1,110 square meters of exhibition space, in addition to a conference hall, foyer, workshop facilities, and office spaces.

LASM x Centre Pompidou Collaboration
Centre Pompidou, the Paris-based institution recognized as one of the world’s most prestigious art centers, is undertaking its first long-term project in Türkiye in collaboration with Arkas Art. As part of this distinguished partnership, exhibitions of modern and contemporary art featuring masterpieces from the Centre Pompidou Collection will be presented to art audiences between 2026 and 2031.

In September 2025, Centre Pompidou Paris closed its doors and launched the “Constellation” program. The initiative aims to bring works from the Pompidou Collection to art audiences in different regions around the world. While offering new perspectives on the collection, the Constellation program also enables the center’s dynamic and interdisciplinary approach to continue across diverse geographical contexts. The Türkiye component of the program will be carried out in collaboration with Arkas Art.
